Sponsored Orphans

There are currently over one thousand orphans directly benefiting from our orphans scheme. These children are living in different cities and villages of Iraq, Lebanon and the rural areas of Iran such as Qum and Ahwaz. Understandably, most sponsors will never get the chance to actually visit the children they are sponsoring so we appreciate the value of seeing exactly where your contribution goes. Because the money that sponsors donate goes to real children, and changes real lives, we aim to paint the true picture of what this project really is.
Via our overseas co-workers, we try to provide as much information about the orphans as possible. We believe that up to date imagery of their situation keeps our sponsors aware of their situation, whilst reassuring them that their donations are reaching genuine cases.
Criterias for sponsoring orphans: All orphans and their families are selected on a case by case basis, by our various representatives.Impoverished orphans whose fathers’ have passed away or have been killed fulfil the main part of the criteria.
The child’s age, living conditions and family size will also be co, e.g. two children will be selected from a family with more than six children, or a family with an extremely poor standard of living.
